European share prices are mixed in midday trading today-Thursday. London's Financial Times index is up six points at 4,796. The CAC-40 in Paris is 10 points lower at 3,917, and the DAX index in Frankfurt is down nine points at 4,180.
The S&P futures contract is down three points, indicating a lower opening for U.S. stocks.
Tokyo's Nikkei index gained three points to finish at 11,009. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index gained 70 points to end at 13,909.
