WLB Women's League of Burma delegation presented a paper of "Constituting Our Rights" to NGOs consultative forum to mark the 50th. Anniversary of CSW Commission on Status of Women annual conference held in New York from February 28 to March 1st. 2006.
WLB member Ma Noe Noe Htet San said, "There must be at least 30% of women's participation in the decision making role when drafting Burma's new constitution."
WLB delegation also paid a courtesy call to the Burmese community in Washington Capital area and took that opportunity for briefings on their mission.
