One of Burma's most powerful generals is ill and is being treated at a hospital in Singapore.
General Maung Aye left for Singapore on Sunday. The military government has declined to comment on his illness.
Maung Aye is vice-chairman of the ruling military administration, known as the State Peace and Development Council.
