Burma has released three political prisoners who had been in jail for 14 years.
The Assistance Association for Political Prisoners says Zaw Min, Htay Thein and Tin Myint were released from central Burma's Mandalay prison Tuesday.
The three were arrested in 1989 on charges of being part of an illegal communist group. They were originally sentenced to 20 years in prison each, but their terms were reduced in 1993.
