Lebanese police say a car bomb has exploded in a Christian suburb of Beirut.
Eight people were reported hurt in the blast, which set several buildings on fire late Saturday in a mostly industrial area of Beirut's Dikweneh neighborhood.
This is the third explosion in Beirut in a week. The previous 2 blasts were also in predominantly Christian neighborhoods, and killed at least two people and wounded 10.
Saturday's blast came on the eve of the Christian Easter holiday.
Lebanon has been in political upheaval since last month's assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
Many Lebanese blamed Syria for the killing. Syria denies involvement but is pulling its large number of troops and intelligence agents out of Lebanon under international pressure.
