Burmese pro-democracy supporters and activists say the European Commission is shutting them out of a conference on Burma.
A panel discussion on prospects for democracy in Burma was part of Burma Day activities Tuesday in Brussels.
But the Burma Campaign UK says the panel is stacked with people who want to lift sanctions against the ruling military government.
Both the Burma Campaign UK and the Burmese government-in-exile - National Coalition Government of the Union of Burma - say a report to the conference is biased in favor of the military now in power in Rangoon.
The European Commission is the highest administrative body in the European Union. The EU has been pressuring Burma's rulers to institute democratic reforms.
