Burmese rights activists have accused military intelligence officers of torturing to death a youth member of the opposition National League for Democracy.
The Assistance Association for Political Prisoners-Burma says Aung Hlaing Win was arrested on May first and died on May seventh.
The rights group says doctors who examined Aung Hlaing Win's body found extensive bruising, at least three broken ribs, a bruised heart and other injuries.
Aung Hlaing Win's widow has filed an official complaint about the death. Military officials have denied any wrongdoing.
