U.S. stocks indicators have opened higher in today's-Thursday's trading.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 37 points at 10,411. The S & P 500 is three points higher at 1,203, and the NASDAQ is up nearly five points at at 2,074.
London's Financial Times index is up 24 points at 5,133. The CAC-40 in Paris is 21 points higher at 4,252, and the DAX index in Frankfurt is up 23 points at 4,607.
Tokyo's Nikkei index gained seven points to finish at 11,584. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index closed at 14,201, down 76 points.
The price of gold in London is 438 dollars, 50 cents an ounce, down 10 cents.
The dollar in London rose against other major currencies.
