Chinese authorities say an international drug-trafficking operation was shut down several weeks ag0 in a joint law enforcement effort between Chinese and Burmese authorities.
The China Daily reports today-Friday that the National Narcotics Control Commission says a 3 year investigation concluded in May with the arrests of several Burmese men. During the arrests, police seized 102 kilograms of crystallized methamphetamine,
which is commonly called "ice."
Burmese authorities helped coordinate the arrests in Rangoon.
