U.S. stock indexes have opened higher in Tuesday's trading.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 52 points at 10,627.
The S&P 500 Index is nearly four points higher at 1,225 and the Nasdaq Composite Index gained nearly 10 points at 2,154.
London's Financial Times index is nearly three points lower at 5,211. The CAC-40 in Paris is up 29 points at 4,392, and the DAX index in Frankfurt is 21 points higher at 4,741.
Tokyo's Nikkei index gained six points to finish at 11,765. The Hang Seng index in Hong Kong closed up nearly one point at 14,568.
The price of gold in London is $419.70 an ounce, down $1.30 from late Monday.
The dollar in London is higher against other major currencies.
