Profile of 34 year old Su Su Nway, who was sentenced on October 13th. to one-and-a-half years imprisonment by a court in Kawmhu township, Rangoon Division.
She was charged under section 294-B and 506 of the penal code for using abusive language against authorities.
However, NLD legal advisor U Nyan Win said according to witnesses Su Su Nway did not use such language.
Earlier, the NLD youth member Su Su Nway reported to ILO about forced labor at Tanmanaing in Kawmhu township and won her case at a local court.
