Burma's state-sanctioned newspaper is reporting that police have arrested a suspect in connection with two bombings in Toungoo last week.
The New Light of Myanmar reports that the suspect is 24 year old Saw Gay The Mu, who police say is affiliated with the anti-government group Karen National Union.
Police say two bombs exploded in Toungoo in central Burma March 2nd. The first exploded early in the day near a high school; the second, in the afternoon, near an electrical transformer. Officials say they are still investigating the incidents.
