The head of an international school in Rangoon, Burma, says two students will be disciplined for causing a bomb scare last Thursday.
The director of the International School Thomas Tunny tells VOA Burmese Service the students left a suspicious device in a school bathroom as a prank to cause smoke and disrupt classes.
The school director says he will not press charges against the two students, who came forward and took responsibility for the practical joke.
School officials closed the school Friday after finding the device, fearing it was an explosive. The school caters to the children of international diplomats and other foreigners.
