Sri Lanka's prime minister has met with leaders of Burma's military government in Nay Pyi Taw.
State media in Burma say Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickramanayaka held talks with his Burmese counterpart, General Soe Win, as well as the vice chairman of the military-led government Vice Senior General Maung Aye.
The reports said the leaders discussed a range of bilateral issues including economic cooperation.
The prime minister is the second Sri Lankan leader to visit Burma since 2004. Before that, the countries did not have any high-level visits for three decades.
