South Korea's Coast Guard says at least one crewman was killed when his cargo ship sank in bad weather off the Japanese coast.
Officials say the South Korean cargo ship sank Wednesday after issuing a distress signal citing poor weather.
At least one recovered body has been identified as a Burmese citizen. Two other Burmese crew members have been rescued.
The rest of the 11 crewmen are still missing. The crew consisted of five Burmese citizens, four South Koreans and two Indonesians.
