South Korean company Daewoo International says it has secured exploration rights to an gas field off the coast of Burma.
The trading company said on Monday it signed a deal with Burma's government to explore the field.
Company officials said they have not decided how much to invest in developing the gas block.
They said Daewoo has a 100 percent stake in the block.
