UN Special Envoy Razali Ismail ended his ninth trip to Burma.
His trip has made little progress in reinvigorating the political reconciliation process in Burma. However, during his stay in Burma, he asked both the military government and the opposition about the possibility of reconvening the National Convention. This may be the only new development that came out of his trip.
