Burmese Foreign Minister Win Aung will travel to neighboring India next week for talks to improve relations between the two countries.
During his stay, the foreign minister will hold wide-ranging talks with his Indian counterpart, Yashwant Sinha, and other officials.
The visit will be the first by a Burmese foreign minister since the current military junta came to power in 1988.
