Burma's military leader, General Than Shwe, has arrived in neighboring Laos on a three-day visit to boost cooperation between the two countries.
Official media reports say the Burmese leader went to Vientiane with a 60-member delegation, including several government ministers.
This is General Than Shwe's second trip to Laos. He was there last in 1994.
Lao President Khamtay Siphandone invited the Burmese military leader to make the trip.
