Police in western Thailand have found charred human remains believed to be those of six Burmese migrant workers who disappeared earlier this month.
However, authorities say they could not positively confirm if the bodies were of the men, who have been missing since Wednesday of last week in northwestern Tak province.
Witnesses said the six were beaten up by a group of Thai men on the day they disappeared. A search for the missing men was launched after relatives complained to Thailand's National Human Rights Commission.
