Burma's military government says ethnic rebels are to blame for two explosions in northern Burma last week.
Burma's official "New Light" newspaper reports authorities believe the Karen National Union was responsible for the June 27th explosions in the northern town of Toungoo. No one was injured in the blasts.
The Karen National Union is one of several rebel groups operating in Burma. It claimed responsibility for blowing up sections of a natural gas pipeline in March and April.
