Burma's official media sharply criticized detained democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi potraying her as inflexible and under the influence of foreign powers.
Aung Zaw, editor of the Irrawaddy news magazine, said the government is doing this because they are in a tight situation.
Kyaw Moe of Burma Media Association said the military government's attempt to discredit Daw Aung San Suu Kyi will fail because they have serious credibility problem.
U Thaung, a veteran journalist said the government media campaign against Aung San Suu Kyi is an act of desperation.
