Thailand's foreign minister Surakiart Sathirathi will meet U.N. special envoy for Burma Razali Ismail next week to discuss Bangkok's proposed road map for democracy in Burma.
The two will meet Monday in the Thai capital to discuss the road map concept and work on improving it.
Mr. Razali has been holding talks with Burma's ruling military government and the opposition National League for Democracy for the past two years. He was the first person allowed to meet opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi following her arrest on May 30th after a clash between a group of her followers and a pro-government mob.
Mr. Surakiart officially proposed the road map for democracy to Burma on Friday, when Burmese Foreign Minister Win Aung visited Bangkok.
