The U.S. Campaing for Burma - a Washington-based activists' group - is an organization established after the directors of the Free Burma Coalition (FBC) disagreed on policy and the FBC split into two. The new branch established, the U.S. Campaign for Burma, has a structure that is different from the Free Burma Coalition.
Campaign Director Jeremy Woodrum and Policy Director Aung Din talk about their new organization and what the organization stands for.
Aung Din talks about the aims and the goals of the organization.
Jeremy Woodrum says that unlike the FBC, the U.S. Campaign for Burma has members, who have the rights to stand for election to the Board of Directors and to vote for anyone they like.
