The wife of a Burmese democracy activist and journalist says her husband has been seized in Malaysia by three men identifying themselves as police officers ahead of a visit by Burma's prime minister.
Yussra Shahril says her husband Minn Kyaw was stopped and taken away as he was driving to the airport outside Kuala Lumpur to cover the arrival of Burmese Prime Minister Khin Nyunt.
Police officials were not immediately available for comment.
Minn Kyaw is the editor of a pro-democracy Burmese Internet newspaper.
Prime Minister Khin Nyunt is on a one-day visit to Kuala Lumpur for talks with his Malaysian counterpart.
