Burma's military government has arrested two members of pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi's party for alleged links to illegal organizations.
U Lwin, secretary of the National League for Democracy, identified the two as Ma Than Htay and Tin Win. Ma Than Htay's son was also detained, but later released.
It was not immediatly clear what charges would be brought against the detainees and the ruling military did not identify the illegal groups with which the two allegedly had been communicating.
