Thailand has called on Burma to join multilateral talks aimed at reaching out to the military regime.
Bangkok had hosted an international forum for countries to discuss political reforms with Burma's leaders, but the talks were suspended in April when Burma withdrew.
Thailand says it is ready to host another round of talks called the "Bangkok Process" if Burma is willing to attend.
Burma's military has ruled the country for 40 years.
