Burmese pro-democracy groups have again called on Burma's military government to release all political prisoners, including Nobel Prize winning pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
A coalition called the Committee Representing People's Representatives also urged Burma's military government to reopen all political party offices and allow freedom of expression.
The coalition accused Burma's military government of doing whatever it takes to destroy opposition forces.
Burma has not responded to the coalition's statement. The military government typically ignores such demands.
Aung San Suu Kyi, who leads the National League for Democracy party, has been under house arrest for more than a year.
