A human rights group has criticized one of Britain's best-known charities for entering into a partnership with a company doing business with Burma's military government.
Burma Campaign U.K. says it is appalled that Comic Relief recently announced that it would stage a charity event with delivery company DHL, which has a joint venture with Burma's military government.
A group spokesman says Comic Relief is showing no common sense by partnering with DHL. He said the partnership will harm the charity's reputation by linking it to a company giving financial support to Burma's military dictatorship.
