A militant group in Iraq is reported to have beheaded a Turkish hostage and his Iraqi translator because they worked with U.S. forces.
The Al Jazeera television network aired scenes of a video showing masked men holding the two men. The station said the video was found on a militant-linked Web site and was purported to be from an al-Qaida-linked (Army of Ansar al-Sunna) group. The video reportedly showed militants killing the hostages after they confessed to working with US. forces, but Al Jazeera did not air the video.
Also today, the Al Arabiya station broadcast video showing militants threatening to behead another Turkish hostage.
In the footage, one gunman identified the kidnappers as members of Tawhid and Jihad -- a group led by wanted terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.
