An Australia-based Burmese rights group says recent actions by Burma's military government have put the life of opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi in danger.
A spokesperson for the Australia Burma Council says reports of Rangoon's removal of Aung San Suu Kyi's personal security detail makes the Nobel laureate extremely vulnerable.
The spokesperson says the council is deeply concerned for Aung San Suu Kyi's safety, adding that the group holds Burma's military government responsible for the opposition leader's health, security and well-being.
