Burma's pro-democracy opposition says a man who staged a solo protest outside Rangoon's city hall has been arrested.
A National League for Democracy spokesman says Tun Lin Kyaw, a party member, was detained last week. The spokesman says Tun Lin Kyaw staged the protest to demand the immediate release from house arrest of National League for Democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
The spokesman also said at least three other National League for Democracy members have been arrested in recent days.
The Democratic Voice of Burma reports the three were detained Sunday for distributing human rights leaflets in Rangoon.
