Myint Myint San, one of the Tsunami relief volunteers shares her experience in Khaunglat area of Phangna district in Southern Thailand. She joins (HREIB) Thai-based Human Rights Educational Institute of Burma, which is the very first Burmese NGO to extend assistance to the Burmese Tsunami victims and survivors in Thailand.
Khaunglat is one of the Tsunami hardest hit coastline of Southern Thailand. Thousands of Burmese migrant workers in Khaunglat area are still missing and most of them are presume dead.
Myint Myint San said, most of the Tsunami survivors are traumatized and some eager to home. She appreciates some local employers' sympathy and empathy towards Burmese migrant workers.
