Billionaires List Headed by Bill Gates, Joined by Martha Stewart

Forbes Magazine has released its annual ranking of the world's billionaires, which now includes U.S. lifestyle matriarch Martha Stewart.

Only a week after her release from prison where she spent five months for lying about a stock sale, Ms. Stewart joined 130 other new billionaires on the annual "rich list" released Thursday.

The list of 691 billionaires is headed by Microsoft founder and chairman Bill Gates for the 11th consecutive year. He is worth over 46-billion dollars, followed closely by investor Warren Buffet.

Indian steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal is third on the list with 25 billion dollars after having the largest increase in personal wealth, jumping by more than 18 billion dollars since last year.

Mexican telecommunications magnate Carlos Slim Helu has the world's fourth largest fortune.
