چند روز پس از آن که گردباد «پام» کشور جزيره ای وان واتو در اقيانوس آرام را در هم نورديد، مردم شهر تانا لباس های خود را در آب های ساحلی می شويند. سازمان های بين المللی پروازهای اورژانس خود را به برخی از جزاير دورافتاده وان واتو برای رساندن کمک های اضطراری به مردم آغاز کرده اند.
