Asian stock markets closed mostly lower Wednesday.
Tokyo's Nikkei index lost 39 points to finish at 11,121. On Tuesday the index lost 12 points.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng index lost 79 points to end at 13,940. The Hang Seng fell 67 points on Tuesday.
In the region's other big market, Singapore, the Straits Times index rose seven points to close at 2,173.
Elsewhere, share prices were higher in Bangkok, Sydney and Wellington. Markets were lower in Bombay, Jakarta, Manila, Seoul, Shanghai and Taipei.
In late afternoon Tokyo currency trading, the dollar was selling at 105.58 yen down 0.26 yen from the same time Tuesday.
In Hong Kong, the price of gold fell $1.30 to close at $428.15 an ounce.
