British police have arrested a third man in connection with last Thursday's attempted bombings on London's transport network.
A police official said Sunday the suspect was arrested in South London -- the same area where two other suspects were arrested Friday.
Police did not identify the men. The three were arrested in the same area where a 27-year-old Brazilian man, who was killed by police Friday, had lived.
London's police chief Ian Blair acknowledged Sunday that officers had mistaken the man for a suicide bomber, and offered his "deepest regrets" to the family. But family members said apologies were not enough, and Brazil's foreign minister has asked his British counterpart for an explanation and investigation.
Meanwhile, families of some victims of the bombings of July 7th visited the sites of the attacks Sunday and were briefed by officials.
