China says Burma's Prime Minister Khin Nyunt will lead a high-level delegation to Beijing later this month -- his first official visit to China in this capacity.
The official news agency, Xinhua, says Khin Nyunt visit will last from July 11th to the 17th. He was invited by his Chinese counterpart, Wen Jiabao.
China is Burma's most important ally, giving it financial help denied by Western nations who shun the country's military government. Earlier this year, China and Burma signed agreements to enhance trade and economic cooperation.
