Indonesia's foreign minister is in Burma for the first visit by a senior Southeast Asian official to Rangoon since the ouster of Prime Minister General Khin Nyunt.
Hassan Wirayuda is expected to meet with Burma's new prime minister, General Soe Win, during his stay. An Indonesian Foreign Ministry spokesman says talks will focus on recent developments in Burma.
General Khin Nyunt, who has been accused of corruption, and a number of his associates were removed from office last month .
Indonesia and Burma are both members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
